PhotoBaker retrieves available hashtag photos through the Meta API. The organiser connects a professional Instagram account linked to a Facebook Page. Discovered and approved photos are added to a layout and sent to PrintStation for Windows.
First check that connection and search are available for your account. A hashtag alone does not guarantee that a photo will appear.
How this differs from VK
Guests do not give PhotoBaker their passwords. The organiser connection and guest posts are separate parts of the workflow.
The current integration requires a professional Instagram account linked to a Facebook Page. The organiser's Facebook account must have access to that Page. An ordinary personal Instagram profile cannot replace this connection.
In the PhotoBaker dashboard, open the Instagram connection through Meta. Grant the requested access and select the linked Page and Instagram account. If your account is missing, check its Page connection and Meta permissions.
Save your event hashtag, dates, Instagram source and PNG layout. Start the search during the active period. Before inviting guests, make sure an available public post with your hashtag appears in the gallery.
Availability depends on application and account permissions, a valid connection and Meta's response. If connection succeeds but search returns an access error, check the dashboard message and contact support. Purchasing monthly access does not remove the external platform's limits.
What to expect from search
Use a unique hashtag in the post caption. Meta limits results and may temporarily return only some of them. If search reports a partial download, saved photos remain available and subsequent checks continue retrieval. Do not rely on retrieving old posts retrospectively.
If a photo is missing
Check that the event is saved, its period is active, Instagram is enabled and a layout is uploaded. Review the last successful check time and any error message.
Check the hashtag, visibility and publication date. A successful request without new photos does not mean printing is broken: the API may not have returned the post.
A discovered photo must first be approved manually or by an automatic approval rule. Then check its job in PrintStation. Automatic printing is enabled separately on the computer.
Connection, photo retrieval, layout and paper output should all be tested before the event. Free with a watermark; monthly access without it costs RUB 1,990 per month, with no automatic charges.
